The feeling of religiousness is even more obvious in Voile. Shapes, sometimes close to the anatomic ones, moulded or masked behind a white matter which is gradually identified with the plastic, reveal across the photographs of this series clues, industrial materials. This work may be understood as an homage to Christo. However, while the latter limits his aesthetics to the literariness of the packaging, seeing the art as a “sociological relay” , Iseult Labote’s packaging becomes a metaphor for the fog, and thus, her work becomes a reaffirmation of the strength of metaphorical evocation.

Le sentiment de religiosité est de plus en plus affirmé avec Voile. Des formes, parfois proches de l’anatomie, moulées ou masquées sous une matière blanche que l’on identifie petit à petit comme du plastique, laissent apparaître, au fil de la série, des indices, des matériaux industriels. Ce travail peut être interprété comme un hommage à Christo. Cependant, si celui-ci limite son esthétique à la littéralité de l’emballage, dans le sens d’un art comme "relais sociologique" , l’emballage chez Iseult Labote devient une métaphore du voile, et par là, son œuvre, une réaffirmation du pouvoir de l’évocation métaphorique.
